An Introduction to the EYFS

This course is designed for ECTs and experienced teachers and TAs who are moving into working in EYFS classes. It intends to increase practitioners knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and demonstrate what high quality teaching and learning looks like in the EYFS. Attendees will become fully versed with the 7 areas of learning and how developing enabling environments and high quality adult/ child interactions can ensure all pupils develop well. It will offer lots of practical ideas and there will be the opportunity for attendees to observe practice in the EYFS classrooms at Wellfield during the day.
