Love and Nurture in Early Childhood

Love and nurture are inseparable and are often at the heart of early childhood provision, however they are difficult to measure.  During this session Aaron will highlight the importance of love and nurture drawing upon neuroscientific research and child development and introduce practical ways of how to implement a loving and nurturing approach within our settings.  They will share the impact of the Bright Futures NW Early Years SPH Love and Nurture Early Years Project and attendees will learn how to use the newly published early childhood rating scale for love and nurture and feel equipped to evaluate the quality of their loving and nurturing practices.
