School Improvement

Careers SLEs

Due to the ongoing success of our SLE Careers Education programme in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority, we are looking to recruit more Career Leads to join our team.

The role of an SLE is done in conjunction with your role in school and has many benefits, including:

  • offering credible peer support rooted in current practice and drawing on real experience
  • the sharing and development of outstanding, innovative practice
  • a collaborative, coaching approach, which helps develop other Career Leads to ensure long-term, sustainable improvement
  • the opportunity for leaders to learn about different school contexts and systems
  • contributing to continuing professional development (CPD), enhancing leaders’ knowledge, skills and abilities in a variety of ways

The support you offer to schools can be done virtually/face to face over half a day/full day. Support varies from school to school but is no more than 2 days in total.

Applications

If your careers provision is good/outstanding and you have a passion for helping others, please download our application form here and return to ccritchley@bright-futures.co.uk

Your application will be reviewed and if successful you will be invited to a virtual informal interview before attending our training programme – dates of these will be shared upon application.
